Ciara sent this Twitpic of herself getting ready for her appearance on Wendy Williams today. I've never been a big fan of Ciara's style, but it's starting to grow on me a little. The Louboutin boots definitely helped persuade me.

I'm convinced that God took the time out to personally make this man. Used those holy hands to mold him from a little piece of clay into the beautiful specimen that we see before us today. He's just BEAUTIFUL. Kinda reminds me of a young Blair Underwood with an extra chocolate swirl. Not just any chocolate but the world's finest dark choc....... OK....let me stop before I get in trouble. Lmao
This is the first time I really got a chance to see them. So cute!
I have a long, long, long....really long way to go before I turn 40 (lmao!). But looking at women like Nia Long makes the number look like....just a number. People sure do age a lot differently these days, don't they? I pray I look like this at 40 and beyond.
This pic reminds me a lot of Jane Fonda's "Barbarella" character. Nice.
I don't know how I would feel about this outfit on anyone else, but it works for her. She is such a beautiful girl.
I really have no idea what I'm going to be for Halloween, but whatever it is has to go with something I already have in my closet. lol Here are a few cute looks that caught my eye. Sephora's Get-the-Look Halloween 2010: Peacock Betty Boop Lady Gaga "Telephone" Video Makeup Lady Bug Sexy Cat
Fresh off the Spring/Summer 2011 runway, she got first dibs on the collection...Grrrr! Love the dress overall, but looove the top portion *drools*
She has transformed drastically since her days at MTV. She looks amazing.
I came across this article on Yahoo that gave some insight into careers that are still experiencing growth even through the recession and will continue to experience growth over the next 8 years. In this day and age we are all looking for a more stability in our bank accounts, so it doesn't hurt to take a look.
1. ACCOUNTANTS AND AUDITORS They provide vital services to companies and individuals who want to maintain solid financial footing by analyzing and communicating financial information, ensuring public records are kept, and preparing taxes.

Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, is the most widely sought-after qualification by employers. For upper-level positions, some employers might prefer a master's degree in accounting or business administration.
Average yearly salary: $65,840
2. MEDICAL ASSISTANTS Providing needed assistance in the offices of physicians, podiatrists, and chiropractors, medical assistants handle administrative, clinical, or other specialized tasks.

I'm a psychotic germaphobe with OCD tendencies, and a host of other ailments that would never allow me to use the makeup testers at stores. However, if you are a normal functioning human being who wants to try on makeup, Women's Health gives a few tips on how to do so safely. Hopefully you won't fall victim to the bacteria and God knows what else that may be swimming on those things. OK, OK....I'm sorry!! I can't help it!
When Trying On.....
Lipstick - Wipe off the top layer with a tissue. Dab the color onto your lips with a cotton swab.
Eye Shadow- Use a cotton swab to brush the color onto your brow bone. Steer clear of your eyelids.
Lotion- Avoid the jarred variety. Stick with lotions that are in a tube or a container with a pump.
Solid Foundation- Remove the top layer with a tissue, then use a disposable makeup sponge to apply the product to your skin.
Blush- Spritz an alcohol-based spray onto the communal makeup brush, let it dry for a minute or two, and then swipe the blush onto your cheeks.
I was under the impression that everyone knew these shoes were fake, but apparently not *side eye*. There are a lot of women out there that simply don't care, but this segment really shows the difference and it's just not worth it in my opinion.
I tried to be mad at it when I first saw the headline, but then I realized it was actually a really good idea and.....I want it! lol According to Mama Tina the idea came about after they shot the latest Dereon ads in which Beyonce wore temporary tattoos to give the fall campaign "a tough edginess". They teamed up with airbrush make up company Temptu to create the line which launches at Sephora on November 1st. The basic kits being sold at the store will cost $16, while deluxe kits (only available at dereon.com and temptu.com), which in addition to the tattoos also include a signed photo of Beyonce as well as a chance to win a trip to NYC are $34.
It's almost perfect!! The only thing missing is Idris Elba. They could have put him right next to Boris in the left corner. Oh well!! Kudos to Essence nonetheless for putting all these fine men together. Jeez....
Yesss!!! An alternative to Rachel Zoe! I really need this in my life. There's no denying that woman's passion and talent when it comes to fashion, but hearing her talk makes me want to just.....give up! Thankfully Oxygen is now debuting a new show based on the lives of a group of stylists entitled "House of Glam", and it's a welcome alternative for me. I'll still tune in to Rachel from time to time to WATCH the fashion, but my TV will be on MUTE!! Check out the B Lynn Group website to view the stylist's portfolios. The show premiere's on October 5th at 10 pm.
I was completely blown away by Kanye's "moving painting" for his song "Power". Just f'ing GENIUS, visually AMAZING and the most innovative work I've seen in music in a long time. I would love to walk around that man's brain for just a few minutes to see what the hell is going on in there. Aside from how people feel about his arrogance, mild tourette's, and meltdowns, artistically that man is the truth and cannot be denied. But with that being said, I can't give all of the credit to Kanye. According to the NY times he saw Marco Brambilla's (movie director and the director of Power) piece entitled "Civilization" and was inspired to work with the director on his own project. I watched Civilization and was again blown away. He is an incredible artist. Check out "Civilization" and "Power" below. If you're interested in seeing more of Marco Brambilla's work, visit his website here.

I feel bad for her, but at the same time I can't stop laughing. She was about to jump off the balcony for real.
Solange partied with her eclectic group of friends over the Memorial Weekend, and shared via her blog. Really loving her hair and dress.
